Federal travel ban update

The federal administration on Sunday evening, Sept. 24, 2017, announced an updated travel ban restricting travel to the United States from several countries. Details of the restrictions vary by country.

Stanford continues to offer support to all members of its international and immigrant communities in the wake of this latest development. Students and scholars from the affected countries who have questions or need assistance should contact the Bechtel International Center (travelban@stanford.edu), which is providing referrals to free legal consultations as needed.
